Current Job: Cloud Engineer, U of M Head Triathlon Team Coach
Q2: As a senior at UMD, when did you start applying for jobs?

I started applying as a Sophomore for an engineering internship. Worked as an intern throughout my Junior and Senior years. Started interviewing for Full-time positions in the Fall of my Senior year.

Q3: What websites or resources did you use when you were applying?

I didn't exactly apply for anything. I gave my resume to Dr. Colburn of the UMD Computer Science Dept. He has a database that Technical Recruiters use to find potential candidates for software engineering positions. My technical recruiter has been my resource for every position I've had since.

Q4: If you could do anything differently about applying for jobs or the job market in general, what would it be?

I was very fortunate to have a degree in a field that has an excellent job market, so I wouldn't have done it differently.

Q5: Do you enjoy your job/profession at this time?
I wouldn't trade it for anything.
